West Valley Arts offers many educational opportunities throughout the year for in-school K-12 arts programs that are specifically oriented to support core curriculum in Utah. Our ARTrageous educational programs reach over seven thousand students while supporting our goal of creating opportunities to learn, experience and celebrate art, culture and community. By partnering with local artists, non-profits and educators, we continue creating a diverse offering of free and low-cost programs that are experiential and fun.

ARTrageous Online!

ARTrageous Online! supports core curriculum learning for 7-12th grade students by introducing students to passionate and accomplished thought leaders in our community. They are artists, scientists, authors, activists, mathematicians, engineers, teachers, and creatives who have ideas and experience worth  sharing. Vibrant video presentations, activities, and lesson plans support arts integration in English, Science, and Social Studies.
Our hope is that the passion of these leaders will inspire students and enhance their online learning experience.

Partners Program

West Valley Arts is pleased to offer opportunities for traditional music and dance organizations to sign up for rehearsal space at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center as part of the Partners Program.  The Partners Program is intended to provide a means for community-based arts organizations to use UCCC facility space on a weekly basis at a discounted rate that includes the possibility of in-kind trade of performances, volunteer services or other items of value in exchange for credit to reduce the overall cost of rehearsal space rental throughout the year.  The program is designed to increase performing  groups’ visibility within the community, provide them an educational opportunity to share their art with the community, increased stage time, referrals for paid performance opportunities, and provides access to the facility’s versatile rehearsal space for  regular practices.
