Call for Entries: A Stroll Through Sleepy Hollow

On View: October 5-30, 2022
Location: Rotunda Gallery, West Valley Performing Arts Center
Free Admission
We're currently accepting entries for the next exhibit in the Rotunda Gallery at the West Valley Performing Arts Center.

"A Stroll Through Sleepy Hollow" will accompany the theatrical production of Sleepy Hollow: The Musical! Both the production and this exhibit are scheduled for October 5-30, 2023.

We are looking for artwork, artifacts, collectible memorabilia, and ephemera celebrating Washington Irving’s classic early 19th Century tale "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Although anything related to spooks & specters or haunts & Halloween are welcome, priority will be given to art submissions depicting legend-specific images (think Ichabod Crane, the Headless Horseman, flaming Jack-o-lanterns, haunted woods along the Hudson River, the Headless Horseman Bridge, etc.). Both 2D and 3D works will be considered.

  • Digital photo examples of proposed work may be submitted via email to michael.christensen@wvc-ut.gov by September 15, 2023.
  • Artists may submit up to three entries maximum.
  • If accepted, artwork must be dropped off at the West Valley Performing Art Center on September 30, 2023.
  • Please include the following information for each item submitted: Artist name, Title of piece, Medium, Price (30% to UCCC upon sale), Dimensions (including frame) We can't wait to display your work!
