Classical Greek Theatre Festival Presents HELEN by Euripides

Westminster College celebrates the Festival's 50th anniversary with Helen by Euripides.

While we’re all familiar with the story of the fall of Troy, Euripides offers us an ancient twist on the tale in which the famous Helen, whose beauty launched a thousand ships, never, in fact, left for Troy. The meddling Gods instead whisked her away to Egypt while a false Helen incurred the wrath of two nations, her family, and husband, leaving the true Helen to pick up the pieces of her tattered reputation and marriage.

Directed by Lynn Deboeck

This performance will be preceeeded by a Greek Drama and History Workshop starting at 9:30 a.m.
