TICKETING AND THEATRE POLICIES

Ticket Purchasing Policy
The following Purchase Policies are designed to ensure your understanding of, and satisfaction with, the purchase process on the West Valley Arts, Utah Cultural Celebration Center, and Harman Theatre websites, and the Eventbrite app. By purchasing tickets through the websites and the app, you agree to be bound by these policies. These purchase policies may change at any time, and such changes shall be effective upon posting. You agree to be bound by such changes when they take place.
Pricing and Availability
West Valley Arts sells tickets on behalf of the Harman Theatre and Utah Cultural Celebration Center venues owned and operated by West Valley City (“Event Venues”).
West Valley Arts acts only as agent for these Event Venues, which means West Valley Arts does not set the ticket prices and is not responsible for any claims or representations made by Event Venues or the event providers who use the Event Venues for their performances. Event Venues and/or event providers reserve all rights to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or events, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.
Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including online, over-the-phone, and at the Harman Theatre and Utah Cultural Celebration Center box offices. Therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may become available prior to the event. However, West Valley Arts does not control inventory or availability of additional tickets.
West Valley Arts reserves the right to prohibit any sales to any ticket buyer who is identified or has been identified as a ticket reseller. This pertains to resales above, below, or at face value. Resales include unauthorized duplication and multiple forwarding of print-at-home tickets. Tickets can be remotely invalidated. All venues have scanning capabilities.
Replacement Tickets
West Valley Arts is not responsible for tickets purchased through other ticketing agencies. West Valley Arts is not responsible for any ticket that is lost, damaged or destroyed.  Replacement tickets for lost, damaged or destroyed tickets purchased through West Valley Arts may be obtained by contacting West Valley Arts, the Harman Theatre box office, and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. Replacement tickets will be sent via email or set up for Will Call pick up (requires presentation of valid picture ID) to the person whose account was used to purchase the lost, damaged or destroyed tickets.
Refunds and Exchanges
West Valley Arts or the Event Venues will not refund or exchange any tickets after 7 days prior to the event or performance date. Before finalizing your purchase, please carefully review your event and seating selection.
Order Confirmation
If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with West Valley Arts or the Event Venue where you purchased the tickets box office whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process.  West Valley Arts or the Event Venues will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
Obtaining Your Tickets
Tickets set up for mail delivery will be shipped via USPS, one business day after order completion and should arrive in 7 to 10 business days. Please note that tickets will be mailed to the mailing address on the account set up to purchase the tickets. An incorrect billing address or credit card information may delay processing and delivery. Tickets lost in the mail will be set up for Will Call pick-up or via e-ticket only; they cannot be re-mailed. The customer is responsible for notification to West Valley Arts if the tickets are not received within the time frame posted above. If your tickets are being held for Will Call pick-up at the venue on the night of the show, tickets will only be released to the person whose account used to purchase said tickets. If the Will Call pickup name needs to be changed for any reason please contact the Box Office of the Event Venue purchased from.  A photo ID may be required for Will Call pick-up tickets to be released.
Payment Methods
West Valley Arts accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, West Valley Arts gift certificates and cash for qualifying events. Checks are not accepted.
Admission
The right of event admission is reserved, and subject to the Event Venue’s terms of admission (i.e. minimum age requirements, surcharges for minors, etc.). Recommended minimum age for all performances is eight years or older unless otherwise specified and no babes in arms at the Harman Theatre. Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance. In some venues and for some performances, there will be no seating after curtain time. Please refer to the event page or venue page for specific information. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way, or are not purchased through authorized points of sale. Entry may also be refused if tickets are lost or stolen.
Large Bag Policy
Leave oversized bags and backpacks at home. For the safety and security of our guests and performers, the Harman Theatre is limiting the size of bags allowed into Centre Stage to 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches. The theater cannot check oversize bags and backpacks and will ask patrons to return them to their car before entering the theater.
Stand-by Ticketing Policy
At the discretion of the Event Venues, stand-by ticketing will be offered only for selected performances that have a no-late seating policy.
•All patrons MUST be seated 5 minutes after performance start time.

•Tickets for patrons not seated at least 5 minutes after performance start time will become invalid and non-refundable.
•Stand-by tickets will be sold to fill seats of late patrons and issued numbers.
•Stand-by patrons will line up at theatre door in numerical order and at the discretion of the producing company representative, stand-by patrons will be admitted 5 minutes after performance start time.
•A stand-by ticket does not guarantee a seat or seating together and it cannot be used for admittance to any other performance other than the date/time printed on the ticket.
•Stand-by ticketed patrons who are not seated for the performance must return to the ticket office immediately and present their stand-by ticket for a full refund.
Number of Tickets or “Ticket Limits”
When purchasing tickets on our Site, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a “ticket limit”). Please refer to the event page for posted ticket limits. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices. We reserve the right to cancel any or all orders and tickets without notice to you if you exceed the posted limits. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
Canceled or Rescheduled Events
Occasionally, performances are canceled or postponed. Should this occur, the Event Venues and West Valley Arts shall use reasonable efforts to inform you of refund or exchange procedures for that performance. For exact instructions on any canceled or postponed performance, please contact West Valley Arts. If an event is canceled, and you purchased your ticket through the West Valley Arts or Event Venues websites, we will automatically issue you a refund of the amount you paid for your tickets, including all fees (except USPS and retail pickup), to the credit card that you used to purchase that ticket. If you used any other payment method, please contact us for more information or to request a refund. Only the original purchaser will be eligible for a refund. If you bought your tickets at a retail outlet, you will have to return them to that location. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the Event Venue or event provider may set refund limitations. Please contact us for more information or to request a refund if you cannot attend the rescheduled event. Please make sure to include/provide your order number so we may expedite your refund.  If applicable, West Valley Arts or the Event Venues will not be liable for any expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled or postponed event.
Billing Information Verification
Orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In these cases, West Valley Arts or the Event Venues will attempt to contact you, using the information provided at the time of purchase. If we are unable to reach you after our initial attempt, we may cancel your order without further notice.
Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this Site or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or pre-sale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then we have the right to cancel that ticket/order and refund the amount paid.
Limitation of Liability
You voluntarily assume all risks incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring before, during or after the event, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against us, management, facilities, artists, other participants, and all affiliated entities, agents, officers, directors, owners and employees on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor. You bear all risks related to weather. See the Limitation of Liability section in the Terms of Use for additional limits on our liability.
Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event.
