Alapa Family

Join us for a Polynesian performance by the Alapa Family on Tuesday, May 30 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. 

The Alapa Family have been singing and performing together ever since the parents got married in 1995. Their heritage derives from Hawaiian, Tongan, Samoan, Chinese, and Portuguese descent. They have loved being able to grow up performing with one another especially as a family. The Alapa Family hopes to share the Aloha Spirit with all they perform to through the power of music and family.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera connects Utah communities through great live music, serving as the premier local provider of orchestral and operatic art forms. In addition to numerous regional and domestic tours, including most recently the Mighty 5® tour of Southern Utah’s National Parks, it has embarked on seven international tours and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2016 coinciding with the orchestra’s 75th anniversary celebrations. West Valley Symphony of Utah

​The West Valley Symphony was founded in 1991 by founder Ralph Baker. It is an all volunteer orchestra of 75-80 musicians from all over the Wasatch Front from Provo to Ogden.

Coco Garcia Rumba Libre Band has its roots planted firmly in Salsa, Latin Jazz and Afro-Cuban music. With its formation in 2008, the group has developed into an extraordinarily tight and musically creative unit. Based in Salt Lake City, the group has built a local fan base that attracts many salsa dancers.

Smiling Souls

Salt Lake City premier Reggae band. Playing festivals and audiences over 15 years in the salt lake valley. Band founded by Tuitupou brothers have grown added great musicians to their group. This band plays classic reggae hits from legendary artist as tribute to reggae’s finest. ​

UCCC Outdoor Amphitheater Concert Guide

​​Welcome to the Utah Cultural Celebration Center’s Outdoor Amphitheatre. Whether you’re one of our regulars or if this is your first visit, West Valley Arts would like to share a few reminders: 

General Information

Performances are held rain or shine.  All shows are general admission, first come first serve. You are welcome to bring your own blanket, chairs are not recommended. Only Service Animals are allowed, please leave your pets and comfort animals at home.
​Gates open one hour before showtime.
We recommend you bring a jacket or blanket because the weather can change quickly here in Utah.

Concert FAQs

Performances take place at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, located at 1355 W 3100 S, West Valley City, UT 84119. Performances are held rain or shine. The outdoor amphitheater has 524 fixed seats and a lawn section, all areas are general admission. You are welcome to bring your own blanket.  

Tickets

All performances are complementary and first-come first-served ​general admission.
Tickets are not required. Be aware that ticket resellers and scalpers may sell overpriced or invalid concert tickets.  

Parking

​Parking on-site at the UCCC is complimentary but limited. We encourage you to car pool or take public transportation.  

Food and Beverage

No outside food or beverage allowed. Please leave your coolers at home.  

Alcohol

You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages onto the property or into the venue.

No Smoking or Vaping

​The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is a non-smoking facility. 

Service Animals

​Only Service Animals are allowed, please leave your pets and comfort animals at home.  

Prohibited Items

​The following items are NOT allowed at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center: 
No wagons or carts, selfie sticks, laptops, drones, noisemakers, laser pens, inflatables. 
Please leave pets and comfort animals at home. 
No weapons unless otherwise permitted by law. ​
